For those of you in Auckland make sure you get along to Chris’s exhibition opening at Shed Five Friday 7th June from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
Chris showcases some of his favorite wild life images from around the world, including Great White sharks from Africa, the Grizzly bears of Alaska, Botswana’s enormous Elephants, Tahiti’s teeming seas and more…
Displayed alongside a brand new series of intimate portraits taken of some of the more well known faces at the Auckland Zoo – including Janie the ancient Chimpanzee and Charlie the rascal Orangutang.
While it would be fair to say that any Zoo Keeper would rather see animals in the wild than in a cage, the part Zoo’s play in wildlife conservation these days cannot be ignored. The Auckland Zoo is part of a number of international conservation efforts, contributing thousands of dollars to the research, preservation and continuation of a number of endangered species.
Come along to the exhibition, enjoy the photos, and learn a little bit more about the work done behind the scenes to ensure the future of all wildlife!
